Jawhara Palace Museum


Located at the southern tip of the Citadel of Saladin in Cairo. Built during the period from 1811 - 1814 and was the seat of government and official meetings. Palace is the oldest palace official otherwise ex-Egypt until 1874. The palace complex comprises a number of halls and rooms retain some of them refurbished and paintings represented on the walls and roofs. The main lobby is located at the entrance of the palace and houses a collection of saloons and gifts donated Mohammed Ali of the rulers of Europe. Leads to the rooms, the lobby has some of the salons, where he was either singly "Kocp" wedding of King Farouk and Queen Nariman.
