Coptic Museum


Cairo is credited in the establishment of this museum to the late disco thick. And the Department of Manuscripts, which includes many of the manuscripts of papyrus, which includes religious subjects written in Greek, Coptic and Arabic.
And includes many samples of the textile section of the Coptic textiles outstanding, which reflects the artist's ability in spinning and weaving and the composition of many of the scenes, writing and decoration items. The most important groups of the Coptic Museum, Legend Group, a wooden panel, which contains pictures representing different subjects or attached to the walls of the saints, monasteries and churches. Then there are sections of metal, ivory, bone and parts of some churches which are found in the region of Nubia.
